Equatorial Guinean President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo organized a charity dinner, at the Hotel 3 de Agosto, to help raise funds toward Somalia famine victims. President Obiang continued to call for united international community help and encouraged his fellow citizens to contribute to the relief effort.
“This is the first time Africa is showing solidarity toward an African cause,” said AU chairman and president of Equatorial Guinea, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo at the AU international conference held yesterday in Addis Ababa.
