The President of the African Confederation of Non-Governmental Organizations, Lucien Tape Mambo, honored President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea for his dedication to eradicate poverty.
He presented President Obiang with an award during a ceremony last Friday at the People’s Palace in Malabo. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Agapito Mba Mokuy was also present at the ceremony.
According to Tape Mambo, President Obiang has supported progress within the country along with the development of multiple humanitarian actions within several organizations. The Unesco-Equatorial Guinea Prize for Research in Life Sciences, for example, which was designed to alleviate poverty, has strengthened over time with President Obiang’s support.
