The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Obiang
Nguema Mbasogo, discussed the creation of a financial center in Malabo with his
Dubai counterparts during his recent Middle East tour.
The President was received by officials from the Dubai
government and the International Financial Center.
Obiang welcomed the idea of building the financial center
and signaled that both parties will reach an agreement shortly.
Obiang also met with representatives of Global Financial Capital
Limited to discuss investment opportunities in Equatorial Guinea.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba
Mokuy, and Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to Morocco, Crisantos Obama Ondo,
attended the meetings as well.
