Equatorial Guinea Continually Invests in Education

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea is committed to continual investment in its education sector. The Minister for Education, University Teaching, and Sports this week met with leaders from the sector to discuss further improvements to Equatorial Guinea’s knowledge base.

The Minister highlighted the need for supervision and inspection of teachers in public and private centers in order to maintain a high level of standard across the education sector.

The Minister also called for all education centers to follow the published ministerial orders, and praised officials for their hard work.

Equatorial Guinea recently announced further investments in education with scholarships for the Oyala Afro-American University.

Equatorial Guinea has a long history of promoting and investing in education, including the achievement of key milestones in literacy, improvement of education for all Equatoguineans by all international standards, as well as the recent recognition by the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea of the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prizes for Research in Life Sciences.
