Equatorial Guinea Strengthens Tourism Ties with Ghana

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea strengthened tourism and cultural ties with the Republic of Ghana at a meeting between the Equatorial Guinea Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Craft Promotion, and his Ghanaian counterpart.

Equatorial Guinea and Ghana reviewed bilateral relations regarding tourism and culture and extended existing cooperation agreements between the two African countries.

Equatorial Guinea and Ghana successfully established a number of new tourism and culture initiatives, including the granting of tourist visas, the establishment of a direct route for commercial flights between Equatorial Guinea and Ghana, and collaboration on the fiftieth anniversary of National Independence.


Equatorial Guinea offered Ghana support for local artists and entertainers, as well as human resources training.
