Equatorial Guinea Further Strengthens Telecommunications

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea, through its Minister for Transport, the Postal Service, and Telecommunications, Eucario Bacale Angüe, further strengthened the country’s telecommunications industry at a meeting with Equatoguinean graduates of the Telecommunications Engineering program from the Xian University of Sciences and Electronic Technology.

The University, in the People’s Republic of China, is part of the extensive knowledge sharing program between Equatorial Guinea and China, in addition to other areas of mutual interest.

The Minister highlighted the importance of telecommunications education for the economic and social development of Equatorial Guinea.


Equatorial Guinea has made great strides to further advance their telecommunications as an overall effort to promote socioeconomic development throughout the country and reach the Horizon 2020 sustainable development goals.
