Equatorial Guinea Strengthens Technical and Professional Training

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea strengthened professional training with the opening of the Nostradamus Institute of Technical and Professional Training in Malabo II.

The Institute will open for the 2018-2019 school year and offer training in banking and finance, office automation and communications, administrative services, and pharmaceutical, among other special sectors.

The Institute will also offer exercises in repairing microcomputer systems, systems operation, clinical analysis laboratory, and accounting and auditing.

The construction and staffing of the Institute is in line with the Government program for training in human resources.

Equatorial Guinea has a long history of promoting and investing in education, including the achievement of key milestones in literacy, improvement of education for all Equatoguineans by all international standards, as well as the recent recognition by the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea of the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prizes for Research in Life Sciences.
